Suggest that those purchasing a home purchase what they can afford! All real estate loans should be perpetual (stay with the institution making the loan). The jobs created by artificial means support illegals who pay no tax of any kind and live off the American taxpayer. Let the real estate market settle through sales and not govt. intervention.

Janice, you’ve brought up a very good point. It happens I was discussing this issue with a friend at Starbux yesterday morning. What I told him was that if Tea Party candidates regress to standard Republican behavior OR IF typical Republicans run whether openly or somewhat hiding their true values as Tea Party candidates, then those candidates will lose. The reason cannot get any simpler.

It is because Americans’ know we are at a crossroads on the economic front. Thus the traditional Washington dealing of going into a closed room – both Republicans and Democrats – and cutting deals to divide up the loot won’t work. The loot’s gone, and we’re now spending our childrens’ money. That’s why TEA = “Taxed Enough Already”.

One correction – Sarah Palin is not a candidate for anything. She wasn’t a Tea Party candidate as a VP, because the Tea Party didn’t exist in November 2008. So I am not sure what to say about your disliking Palin. What I will with this blog is print things that candidates say or do in the Texas elections that tells us something of what their principles are, so that we know. I won’t print standard campagin and promotional materials.

Add me to the crowd who’d like to know that these people running are constitutionally sound and are good people. In truth it’s only after they’ve gone to that cesspool of DC that we’ll know.

Another part of my conversation of yesterday may interest you. Some candidates for congressional office may be MORE Tea Party values inclined than they state publicly. They may be running on a moderate Republican platform because they fear being aligned with the Tea Parties. This I have seen evidence of. But specific Neo-Cons running on Tea Party just to get elected….it’s hard to see how they could take the heat.

I’d suggest taking a close look at nearby Congressional races and those candidates. The media would certainly like you and I to focus on national races, because they can’t focus on the small ones. But the small ones really count, don’t they?

I met Brian a week ago and was very impressed. I know people who grew up with him and they say he’s the real deal. Please back him and help get Henry Cuellar out of that office. He’s done enough damage to Texas and America.

I’m hearing that the Tea Party has been infiltrated by Neo-Cons. At this point, I’m not sure I can trust your candidates – i.e. Sarah Palin. I will never vote for her! Do you have anything in place to assure your candidates are constitutionally sound/ and good people?

Hi – I am the event Chair for the Texas Tea Party Patriot Pac “Tea Party in the Park” – AMERICA STRIKES BACK. The event is not free except to Seniors over 65, Military and Vets and children under 18. You can purchase tickets on line for $10 and at the gate for $15. We did not want to charge for the event, but our expenses have gotten so high (contracting with speakers can really get expensive, plus their transportation, hotels, et al. Would you please change this website to reflect the correct costs? Thank you so much

If the Bush tax cuts are not continued on 12/31/2010, there will be more taxes. If the Marxists in DC tax the top 2-5% more, there will be slower growth, because their money will be placed in tax shelters. That will place a burden on the middle income.

Should a value added tax be used to bring down the debt we are in to the CHICOMMs, it will increase our taxes.

Who is going to pay for the illegal alien anchor babies, illegal alien court costs, healthcare, jail costs, and why are illegal aliens sending untaxed monies home to Mexico?

I will vote Tea party in November, because the RINOs, and Demorats have Treason in their hearts for America. Vote them all out!
