Just put 1,000 Texas Rangers on the border.

Problem solved. Next?
FELLOW AMERICANS, THIS IS THE MOST CRUCIAL ELECTION IN THE HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY. IF WE DON’T TAKE CONTROL OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES NOW, NOTHING WILL PREVENT THIS DEMOCRAT, LIBERAL ADMINISTRATION FROM TRANSFORMING OUR GREAT NATION INTO A SOCIALIST WELFARE STATE. DAMAGING LEGISLATION HAS ALREADY BEEN PASSED BY CORRUPT POLITICIANS AND, IF THEY ARE LEFT UNCHALLENGED FOR ANOTHER TWO YEARS, THE DAMAGE WILL BE IRREVERSIBLE.
DO YOU WANT TO STOP THIS INSANITY? THEN YOU MUST JOIN WITH US IN FIGHTING FOR THE LIBERTY OF EACH AND EVERY AMERICAN. HELP US ELECT STEPHEN BRODEN TO CONGRESS! WE WILL WIN THIS WAR…ONE HOUSE SEAT AT A TIME!
Many of you responded to last week’s urgent plea for help. We thank you.
However, we need hundreds of volunteers to join together to fight in the trenches. If you are receiving this email, it is because you indicated at some point that you would like to serve as a volunteer. Yet many of you still have not responded to our desperate plea for help. It’s too late now for anyone to sit complacently by while Rome burns. Each of you must take an active part in this campaign if we are to roll back the liberal agenda that Washington bureaucrats have forced upon us.
We have many activities for which you can volunteer–handing out flyers, neighborhood walks, holding signs at community events, and telephoning voters, to name a few.
To ensure that each polling location is free of election fraud, we need dozens of Early Voting and Election Day Greeters to display signs, hand out flyers to those who are interested, smile, and ask for their vote. We need many more supporters at key voting locations EVERY day during early voting and on November 2nd. We especially need your help this weekend because, historically on Super Sunday, suspected voter fraud runs rampant.
On November 2, Election Night, we will have an Election Night Watch Party at Fatso’s, 15630 Henderson Pass, San Antonio, TX 78232, beginning at 6:00 PM and going until 12:00 midnight.
Join with other conservatives to watch what we hope will be a positive change for our country. Cost for the event will be $10. Tickets may be purchased on our website. Click here.
Food and beverags will be available for purchase. Clifton Jansky will perform during the evening. Join in the fun!!
Owing largely to the advantages of incumbency and the heavy use of gerrymandering in drawing districts, the substantial majority of seats are never in play in the general election. Certain races are in play, however, and many races in North Texas may end up being very close this year.
For those who’d like to learn more about key races this election season, we’ve prepared summaries of some of the highest-profile county, state and federal races in Dallas County here : http://DallasTeaParty.org/3790/.

This is a great idea. I wonder if it could be used in Texas in some of the congressional district races that could use a bump.
From the Dallas Tea Party:
We are hearing reports of our members being turned away from the polls if they are wearing anything identifying them as a tea party member, such as a Gadsden flag button or tee-shirt.
We encourage our members to exercise their God-given right to freedom of speech by wearing their tea party membership with pride wherever they go.
The election judges have no legitimate power to demand that tea party members leave their freedoms at the door of the polling place.
We encourage you to wear a Gadsden Flag tee-shirt or ‘Don’t Tread on Me’ button when you go to cast your vote. If you are denied your right to vote because of your open public support of the tea party movement, we encourage you to DOCUMENT EVERYTHING, including:
- The TIME and PLACE of the occurrence
- The NAMES of the Election Judge, the Poll Workers, and any law enforcement personnel present
- Any statements or other circumstances that occur
- Any other information you consider relevant
As an example here’s the invite for Group 7:
Hi Patriots of Group 7–
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, October 13th at 6:30 p.m. at Jim’s (Loop 1604 and Bandera Road, San Antonio). Please plan to be there as this will possibly be the last meeting before the election. We will try to have a representative from the Trotter campaign to speak to us and bring us sign-up sheets or ideas of how we can help.
Hope to see all of you there!
Hoping and praying for a restoration of America—-
Bert and Mary Ann Stark

Run the center video, it’s a pretty funny add.
Serious, but still funny.
Then for an example of the way Pastor Broden thinks, run the 5 minute video to the right middle.
Remember this is extemporaneous speaking.
That means no script, no 3×5 cards, no teleprompter.
From the Texas Tea Party PAC in the Woodlands north of Houston:

The NE Tarrant Tea Party exists to promote constitutional governance in every precinct in our district, one voter at a time. We believe in personal responsibility, fiscal responsibility, limited government, rule of law and national sovereignty.
We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force. Ayn Rand

Email from Dallas Tea Party -
Across the country, Republican candidates are savoring the results of public opinion polls showing that they are on track to win races in swing districts and place longtime incumbents in political jeopardy.
This exuberance can be seen around us right here in Dallas County, where many Republicans appear to have a newfound spring in their step while Democrats seem to be doing their level best to stay out of the limelight.
Based on prior voting patterns in Dallas County, we advise the Republicans not to be counting any unhatched political chickens. Most of the federal and statewide incumbents are, of course, not in any serious jeopardy, and can probably count on cruising to a comfortable early lead on election night. If prior Dallas County voting patterns are any guide, however, the state and county-level Republican candidates in Dallas County may not have it quite so easy on Nov. 2. The reasons are set forth here:
Canseco:
I DO NOT believe that we must succumb to typical Washington style attacks on character. This is not what you deserve, it’s not what the people of the Texas 23rd Congressional deserve. It is time to talk about the issues. Time to discuss the job killing policies of Ciro Rodriguez and Nancy Pelosi. Time to discuss the tax hiking, job killing legislation of ObamaCare and the failed stimulus. All votes taken by liberal Career Politician Ciro Rodriguez.
<<Spendulus>>
Hey you mean, like, we oughta talk about the actual issues?
I like that point of view.
If you are in the Ft Worth area, why not visit these people and help them:

Two weeks before the election has always been “Democratic Dirty Tricks Time”. Here we go!
From a Bill Flores campaign email:
Dear Friend,
In the most desperate maneuver of his failing campaign, 20 year incumbent Rep. Chet Edwards (D-TX) is now attempting to suppress Republican voter turnout. In recent days, Rep. Edwards’ campaign has produced robocalls into historically Republican households telling voters that Early Voting ends on October 22, seven days before it actually does.
Congressman Edwards will stop at nothing to continue his 20-year political career, including outright voter suppression.
If Chet Edwards has any integrity, he will immediately stop the false robocalls and issue a public apology. There is absolutely no place for disenfranchising voters.
On the call, Congressman Edwards says, “Early voting begins this Monday, October 18 and runs through Friday, October 22.”
Chet wants working Republican voters to falsely think that early voting ends before this weekend, when they would have an opportunity to cast their ballot. This is shameful.
There is only one reason why Mr. Edwards would try to deceive Republican voters about their opportunity to cast a ballot this coming weekend and next week, he does not want them to exercise their right to vote.
Republican primary voters in the southern part of the District have notified our campaign that they received the calls.
You can listen to the false robocall here.
Underwood is a past Tea Party speaker, and the “TEA” in “Tea Party” stands for Taxed Enough Already. So it’s fair to look at his opponent’s record on tax issues.
During the 111th Congress Mr. Cuellar(D-TX28) has supported the liberal Obama/Pelosi Agenda 96%* of the time including votes in favor of the failed stimulus, job killing Cap and Trade, and budget busting ObamaCare. Scores from non-partisan independent groups further illustrate Mr. Cuellar’s out-of-touch Congressional record.
- Americans for Tax Reform 15%
- Americans for Fair Taxation Zero
- Citizens Against Government Waste D
- Gun Owners of America D
- League of Private Property Voters 25%
- National Education Association (labor union) A
- National Federation of Independent Business 33%
- National Right to Life 16%
- National Small Business Association D
- National Taxpayers Union F
- US Chamber of Commerce D
Clearly the incumbent, Henry Cuellar, doesn’t think we are Taxed Enough Already?
